Mick Freer

I have just learnt that a long-standing aviation enthusiast, forumite and great friend of over 40 years sadly passed away at 1230 yesterday after a battle with an illness, following an operation.
I refer to Mick Freer, who was a great military aviation enthusiast and photographer, attended all the shows from the ’60s up to date and contributed to all the forums, together with son Stu. He lived at Evesham and regularly used to reminise over all the obscure and rare aircraft that he used to see at RRE Pershore nearby.
My sincere condolences to Stu and family on this sad occasion. RIP
