What are you all having a pop at someone’s business? And in some posts hinting rubbish like made from original seats..

Grow up…. everyone has a right to make a living without immature comments and rubbishing his products online without ever even having seen them, I think they look Superb and anyone googling his site will get this verbiage on their search list.

It’s hard enough for businesses to survive in a recession as it is without you lot trying to destroy it.

I agree Tony, lets face it, it’s only the name of a range of goods he sells, and to be honest, they are a good design, as was the Spitfire, and thus named after it.
Wouldn’t mind one particular one that I saw on his site though.
Nice to see you havn’t lost the knack of having a Rant 😉
Jim.

To each their own, though as these items have nothing to do with Spitfires, or Historic Aviation, and are, in fact made of Stainless steel, I think the best place for the discussion is in GD.

I have to say the aviator chair in brown leather looks good, and at £375 quite a good price; not sure about the riveting though looks to be 1″ centres and Spitfires were 3/4″ centres……(probably ruined the positive vibe now haven’t I?)

I just find it hard to link a spitfire with the furniture

I think the B-17 ball turret chair would be easier to sell. Unlimited positions and twin 50’s as arm rests 🙂

Ah but they have a robust and continuing provenance. They are not just new builds with an original data plate attached! It will all be in the boo……. lol 😀

Yes, I did hear a rumour that about 12 years ago a guy found some Spitfires in crates buried on an old airfield, thought they were worthless and melted them down to make these chairs, just a rumour thought !

Alot of Spitfires must’ve been melted down to fill those warehouses up.
