As for people putting ‘crap’ on government forms – THEY(the government) started it by asking stupid questions on their silly forms, then threatening people with sanctions if they don’t fill out the forms and return them.

You must point out who has filled in a census form ‘incorrectly’.

Just because you don’t approve of an answer that is perfectly acceptable to the ONS, doesn’t actually make it ‘incorrect’.

Nice try. What I said was that anyone who fills in the census form incorrectly in general terms shouldn’t be surprised when the data comes out in error. As well you know.
In fairly typical fashion, and like many others, you resort to exaggeration and twisting of the words in a attempt to belittle. Well, it hasn’t worked.

I have to say that I didn’t realize sniggering about what you filled in on a official form like a 12 year old constitutes a “sense of humour”. I think some of us have moved on a little more than that.

Anyway, time to move on again as the playground mentality seems to have broken out. Again.

Putting Jedi down as your religion makes more sense than any main stream
religeon, when O-be-wan said “the force is an energy field that surrounds us penetrats us, it binds the galaxy together”, what scientists now call dark matter and dark energy, without it our Galaxy and all other spiral galaxys would fly apart. So a Jedi who believes in a force that does exist has more credability than someone who just thinks there is a god.:D

As well you know, I was referring to the census in more general terms. Putting Jedi as a religion only makes you look like one thing and one thing only and I reckon you can guess what it is….

Said ‘officials’ would merely have coded it as 896 (the code assigned to the Jedi answer since 2001 census) and it would then have been automatically added to the other 176,631 similar answers.

Whether this would have caused them more or less hilarity than an answer of, say, Buddhism I am, unlike you, unable to predict.

However it should be noted that after the 2001 census the ONS issued a press release with the headline

“390,000 Jedis there are”

It would seem the ‘officials’ are far less po-faced than you.
