I have just been looking at the Interactive Photograph. Its like google street view. This is probably not new to a good many of you but it’s new to me and I thought it was worth sharing. I hope the link works. Enjoy.

Does anyone know why there are strings of flags criss crossing the camp sites? Is it guides for safe places to walk. It all looks so rockstrewn to me. I thought glasiers created nice U shaped valleys.

You misunderstand Derek…it is not climate change itself that causes the ‘discussions’ – it is the cause(s) of climate change that is a little ticklish subject 😉 (and of course the excuses to tax the A55 off us for ‘green ‘ reasons LOL)

But I am sure you are well aware of that and not trying to score cheap points 😉

I’m sorry. I’m only joking. Your post is OK. There may be reaction from those who think climate change is a sinister plot.

Filmmaker David Breashears has created a spectacular, two-billion pixel zoom image of Mount Everest to show the effects of climate change in the Himalayas.

Are you sure you should be posting that here? 😉

It’s a stunning image though.
