I had a strange dream last night, and can’t think what might have triggered it.
I can only blame this forum 😀
I was at an airport, seeing a friend off. For some reason I believe it was Norwich, which is even stranger, as I’ve not been there.
Anyway, we were walking around the terminal prior to the flight, when all of a sudden I see a Shackleton taxiing.
This was no ordinary Shackleton, but an auto-gyro version, with a massive two bladed rotor on top.
Damn I thought, my camera is in a bag at the other end of the terminal and I need to get a picture to post on the forum.
Eventually I grab my camera, and just as I’m taking a picture somebody walks past, and all I get is a picture of the aircraft’s tail.
Then I woke up 🙁

A while ago I dreamt I was outside my house when a Mirage F1 and a Mirage 2000 flew over extremely low. The F1 pulled up, but the 2000 crashed into a shop. I’m ashamed to report that my first reaction was not to rush to help or even phone the emergency services, but to try (unsuccessfuly as it happened) to log on here and be the first to report it.:o

squiggleAlansquiggle,
Basically it’s telling you to get a decent camera phone then you’ll always be prepared for those autogyro surprises!!!! 😉

I wouldn’t even recognise her in real life, let alone a dream 🙂

A typical shack dream that! ……………
Dreams are never literal (except in psychic dreams, which are very rare) but the dream’s environment represents your state of mind and emotions and the characters represent aspects of your self unless it is someone very close to you in life.
That’s the threory anyway. 🙂
Strewth …….

A typical shack dream that! No seriously, just another ‘fear of failure’ dream theme, like the one where you have to catch a train for something important and as you arrive it is leaving. You wanted to photograph the aeroplane but your camera was far away. You fail to get a decent photo but catch the end of it. The Shack represents your life aims and sense of opportunities. The free-running rotor on the top suggests it can exceed ‘normal’ abilities (your aims/opportunites in life). But you need to get it together and be quick or you will miss it (the photo). The person you are seeing off at Norwich is part of your personality that you are letting ‘go’ to achieve your life hopes.

I had a dream last night about a silver B25 crashing. One engine died from fuel starvation, pilot turned finals & spun in at the end of the runway, very little smoke/fire owing to it being out of gas. Some airport near a beach (where I was sitting eating an icecream), looked like Ventura.
Bizarre.

I knew it !! 😮
It was a premonition….. You heard it here first folks 😀

That was no dream, it was XF708 on a test flight prior to moving to Newquay, it was considered easier to convert it to an autogyro 😉
