My last visit to Bangkok was in 2004, so it was time for a new round.
In that period a new airport was build because Don Muang was at the limit of its capacity.
I stayed at the Phoenix hotel which is conveniently located in the approach of 19R.
They have a roof terrace which is a good photo position in the morning when 19R is used for landings.
All photo’s with the aircraft nose to the left are from this roof terrace.
In the afternoon I moved to the canal a little bit off King Kaew road.
