US Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton has been admitted to hospital in New York suffering from a blood clot. This could be the result of concussion she had earlier this month due to a fall.
I’m no doctor, but a blood clot in the brain is serious, and could result in a stroke, could it not?
Politics aside, I wish her a speedy recovery.

Hi Tony, Yes, it was great to see behind the scenes, Andy states he didn’t organise this event, but he was running around all day like a chicken with it’s head cut off, so much so, he finally fell flat on his face, now that begs the question, was it because he had one too many, or did he really fall over whilst trying to push start the 500cc motorcycle?.
BTW Andy, you never did say whether the bike was damaged,or were to telling porkies to cover your tracks 😉

You know my wishes are with you already Jim,
As for Mrs Clinton, hope she gets better, suprised she never burst a blood vessel earlier when her hubby shot to fame with Monica Lewinsky…. Pun intended.
Thanks Tony, A shame you couldn’t make it to O.W. Yesterday.
Happy New Year.

She hit her head while looking through Bill’s bedroom keyhole.

Will do Charlie. One hears of this sort of thing happening, but when it’s one of your own family, it hits home hard.

We don’t know at present, had she been able to have seen a specialist,(There is a window of 4 hrs for this) then the TIA could have been reversed, but she left it too long before going to Hospital, she later had another, and the tests are still ongoing.
Thanks for your good wishes.Jim.

Whilst I do not know Mrs Clinton, so have no feelings for her either way, I do, because you are a fellow forumite, wish your daughter well. Is the prognosis for her recovery good, Lincoln?

Whilst I have no time for either of the Clintons, I feel sorry for her. My eldest daughter has had 2 T.I.As, over the last few months, and she is only 45.
Just hope she makes a full recovery.

Yes, it could. That is exactly what happened to me, a little over 2 years ago. I was fortunate in that it happened during the night. My sight loss has resulted in loss of my driving licence, and my job, but there are many stroke victims worse of than me. The scary thing is, I had no warning it was coming. One of life’s ‘curve balls’ I guess.
I’ve no time for Hilary, or her politics, but I wish her well, none the less.
