General Norman Schwarzkopf dies

Just hear that General Norman Schwarzkopf has passed. He was my commander in the Gulf War and was an outstanding leader. RIP.

Yes, quite – a great general.

I love the way Clive James used to refer to him as Storming Norman Norman Schwarzkopf.

Heard it this morning. A fine and highly respected General by all accounts, preferring his nickname “The Bear” to “Stormin’ Norman” by which he was also known..! You could not have had a better in that war.
