G’day folks.
I just booked my tickets home on Singapore Airlines from Melbourne to Delhi. the ticket costed me 1450 Australian dollars (635 punds) and I was charged a whooping 350 dollar tax over it. Out of which i was told 260 dollars is SQ’s fuel surcharge. Are European airlines as well as American charging this much extra as fuel surcharge? I am just comparing it to other airlines as this seems a bit too much for fuel surcharge to me.
