Lance Armstrong – pedalling/peddling drugs?

A (sporting) hero to many.

………..shame to end this way.

I am sorry it has come to this. I admired the way he came back from cancer to become the sports star that he did. If its the old blood trick Google Lasse Viren.

If I understabnd it correctly..it’s not a drug issue.
It’s more of a blood rejuvination issue….not as simple as some rock star, junkie punk and drugs…..

That’s not how I read the allegations in here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-19912623

The guy swears he’s clean…and his comeback from a usually fatal strain of cancer is a great story.
He’s done a lot for various anti-cancer causes.

So I wouldn’t dismiss him out of hand…he’s a better man than most druggie rock stars who have been cleaned and cleared in the eyes of the public.

Baz, If you have to cheat to win at any sport, what’s the point?.
You win because you are the best in the sport you participate in, not because you take drug enhanced things to give you the advantage over your other competitors.

I.M.H.O. he deserved what he got, he single handedly made a mockery of the sport.
