Back in St. Maarten

Well, after a months adventure I am back flying in St. Maarten.
I went for a job in Canada, but it turned out that the company was one of the most unproffesional outfits I have seen. Drinking and flying seemed to be the order of the day, and the staff were a bunch of arrogant assh*les.
Why is it that if you are a pilot, and do what you have dreamed of doing, people think they can treat you like sh*t? They seem to think that since we love our job we are willing to put up with all kinds of bullsh*t and lies…oh well. I walked away, and was lucky in getting my old job back.

I did get to fly on a lot of different airlines and planes.
Got my first experience of the JetBlue experience….very good. Even with a 7hr delay at JFK, I really enjoyed flying with them!! Also flew for the first time in a Beech 1900D and a SAAB 340…with EVAS AIR and Provincial Airlines respectively..both in Canada. Provincial Airlines had the full service like in the “old” days…with moist towels and all…good food as well.

As always JFK was a nightmare..with construction and a distinct lack of service or knowledge about what is going on. It was like that back in 01, and still like that today.

Good to be back online, and I’ll post some pictures soon.
