We had intended to go on Sunday, but as the forecast was for rain on both days, I thought Saturday would be a safer bet.
After missing out on Tibenham because of the weather, I was determined to get there, rain or not.
There had been some overnight rain, and a short shower driving there, but by the time we arrived the sky had cleared. Then there wasn’t a drop all day, and we had a great time.
Unfortunately, due to the Olympic restrictions the only flying was by the BBMF
L,S & H.
There was still some aviation interest though.

He was right not to go on Sunday, it widdled down.
Only the Lancaster displayed too.
If I can find out how to reduce my photos to less than 300kb I’ll put some on.

Good shots 🙂
I know they had to take goodyear titles off due to the airship doing Olympic coverage but I didn’t know they had to remove the ‘spirit of safety’ titles too.
