Tragically on the 12th May 2012, 25 year old Corporal Brent John McCarthy, RAF Police and 27 year old Lance Corporal Lee Thomas Davies from the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, were shot dead in Lashkar Gah, Helmand province in Southern Afghanistan by two rogue members of the Afghan National Police (ANP), bringing the number of UK military deaths in Afghanistan since 2001, to 414.

I agree Bob, The sooner we get our lads and lassies out the better,It will never be won by us or anyone else, it’s our Vietnam.
Even when we do eventualy pull out, I bet it will revert to how it used to be.
