Remember the aerojumbles well, they sort of morphed into the model shows that are held there now. You’re right about the prices Andy, I remember turning down two boxed Spitfire gunsights for £25.00, can’t remember if that was each or the pair. Either way, I wasn’t going to be ripped off like that!!

Those were the days…

You couldn’t give the stuff away, there was so much of it.

I had about three Hurricane canopies for sale at (I think) £75.00 each. I came home with all three, but I sold a D-Type oxygen mask (BofB type) for about £200 if I recall correctly.

(Shouldn’t this be in Historic?)
