British royalty succession reform

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-15492607

Why not have the Lords elect the new King/Queen every time? Following ancient Germanic custom …

Why have ze Haus of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha as a monopolistic purveyor of Kings and Queens to the throne? And how does that go together with EU competition laws and regulations?? :diablo:

Don’t know yet about the latest crop, but the fillies of the Saxe-Coburg und Gotha line have always had more balls than their menfolk anyway.
Just keep them all south of the border…;)

The Queen and Duke have given us years of service and I am very proud of them. I would however like to see young blood on her demise.Sorry Charles and Camilla bu you do not “cut the mustard” with me!

The Lords cannot be trusted!!
I don’t see a problem with the existing system. So, why change?
