Not sure what I think of this. I hate this current celebrity culture, where people that don’t really deserve things like this can afford them…

Daily Mail flubbed so badly, Mike Larkin should find a new car-rier.
I like the paint job, BTW. Excellent work!

Regardless of which aircraft the markings are from, P-51 or F-86, they would look far better on that aircraft…
Typical deplorable rap “star” behaviour, as witnessed by the last paragraph in the Daily Heil’s article.
Oxymoron? :diablo::D
Yes, but at least its a celeb with some like for aviation. Better than Jordan’s pink Bergatti or whatever she had

Is it paint or a wrap?
Moggy

So who are you to decide how Chris Brown, or indeed anyone for that matter, paints their car? Why is that “deplorable”?
BTW, rap music is as valid an art form as any other. You may not like it but many do.

To be honest it was probably done by someone who took a generic look at 50’s American jets. It’s not going to be accurate
It is missing the red stripe in the star and bar. That and the kill markings. It is meant to be a P-51.
A simple Google search which the Daily Mail seemed not to be capable of produced this.

im liking the design, it looks quite good, but gerry and jap kill marks, on a 50s Jet, doesnt really work
and what has this got to do with Tom cruise, i can possibly understand one reference to maverick, but theres at least 3 or 4
By: tornado64 - 3rd September 2011 at 10:12
quite correct !! it is a genneric art piece done mereley for looks and to display the airbrushers tallents
authenticity is the last considderation
would i like it ??? nah , i don’t like lambo’s , if it was a ferrari however !!
and why shouldn’t he own it ?? whatever he’s up to presumably it is baught with money from his album
you can’t take it with you there aint no pockets in coffins !!

Looks alright, just wonder if it would tow my Spitfire any better than my Disco does?:)

It’s not called the daily fail for nothin’!
By: stangman - 2nd September 2011 at 21:03
So the paint scheme is supposed to be from an F-86 that probably explains the German and Japanese kill markings then.Seen better on a Cessna 150.
Some people have far more money than taste, but then he is a Rap singer.
By: Griffhawk - 2nd September 2011 at 20:44
I actually have to say for once a celebrity has taste! hurray! 😛 now if we can get him to fork out money for XH558
