I know this is an unusual post here and help might come not from someone with any interest in the topic, but rather from someone with amazing Googling skills and I know there are some of you out there.
I am trying to establish the fighting strength of the Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps in December of 1941. Theirs was a short fight, Hong Kong falling to the Japanese on Christmas Day, but it was to be a very long war. I know they suffered 283 casualties both from the fighting and their three and a half years of incarceration.
Any help at all would be most appreciated.
