Looks like another Twenty-Percent of the British Army is to be sacrificed to the ongoing wars against…..whatever!

Hundreds of lives and billions of pounds squandered in Iraq and Afghanistan and the end result? I’m sure ‘normal service’ will be resumed in Afghanistan within twenty-four hours of British troops leaving but the British Armed Forces will never regain the capabilities that have been sacrificed.
It is time that Britain ‘punched under our weight’ for a decade or two! 😡

Of the 500 new personnel working at the new ” Tanker Hub ” at Brize Norton 60% will be RAF and the remainder will be Air Tanker employees including Sponsored Reservists . I think very soon it will be RAF PLC.

TonyT. Couldn’t agree more.
Look how many “Civvies” have to sign new contracts, just to do the same job they are doing now, but for less pay.
If we have many more cuts in just about everything in the U.K. there won’t be enough Band aids to put on all the cuts to stem the bleeding.

It is government speak for let’s let a load of them go, then re-employ them as reservists, that way we are keeping the troop numbers up, but do not as such have to pay them full time, so are paying less………..
In other words
DISGUSTING…….. 🙁
