LED > SVO/2

Did a couple of flights in the last couple of month on Aeroflot, mainly Airbus 320 from VIE to SVO/2.

But now did my first flight with a Tu-154 (Aeroflot from Sankt Peterburg to Moscow) and I must say not bad. At least much better than envisioned.

Good performance on take-off (seemed to have been using full power), plus that plane is suprisingly silent. At least nothing compared to those noisy A320. Engines are only audibly at spool-up, half way down the runway there is a mere swoosh and it stays that way.

Seating was ok (economy), only thing unusual were non-standard overhead bins, which means that regular carry-ons are to be stored away in a little compartment at the toilets. But that is not a problem.

Pressurization was ok, on landing a little too rough the venting, but that was probably the crew.

All in all not bad, and most of all regarding passanger comfort basically no difference (if at all) to the usual Boeing or Airbus.

A route i’ve been looking to use, however struggling to find any takers among mates for a MAN-MUC-SVO-LED-FRA-MAN visit to see the cities!

Great stuff
