Such lovely shots 🙂
I miss the days when I would hear her land or take off and my house would shake 😀

It’s the greatest aircraft ever to fly in my opinion. A disgrace it isn’t still flying. A truly magnificent aircraft. Great shots.

Nice pic’s Robert great to see G-BOAA is been looked after. But I’m afraid to say that G-BOAA had her wing chopped when she was transported by both Road and Shipped up the East Coast by Barge which means she will never fly again.

Understand that if any of the British Airways fleet of Concorde’s were to ever fly again then G-BOAC & G-BOAE are the best bets. See following website http://www.saveconcordegroup.co.uk/return-to-flight-rtf/ for further details.

Getting back to AA, she didn’t receive the “back to flight” modifications. So she is well and truly grounded.

Would be awesome to see one fly again.. maybe someone more knowledgeable than me would know.. i remember reading at the time about how draining this fluid with no way to replace it was the death knell for her.

Interesting, you’re right it would appear Concorde ran with Chevron M2V hydraulic fluid. The last batch was sent to AF in 2003 and is now an extremely scarce resource. However, there is a restoration project on G-BOAC at the moment, http://www.concordeprojectflagship.com/pumping.php

Nice set Robert
i visited her last year also..still in great nick!
Matt: AFAIK all the Concordes had all hydraulic fluid drained.this could never be replaced rendering them all permanently grounded.

Fantastic shots Robert!

I wonder how air worthy she is? I notice she’s still got all her interior fixtures? If BA could get permission to do a one off return flight to JFK, I can imagine there’s some serious money to be made. But she’s probably grounded for good 🙁
