Hi all,
Just a general question to the board, im currently on an aerospace engineering degree and afterwards i would be looking at going into the design/cad area i was wondering if companies still had drawing offices/offices etc in the london area? Or would it be a case of having to re locate to companies home airfields or elsewhere?
Just after some general feedback here 🙂
Many thanks

I don’t know about aerospace, but there are heaps of jobs in the Automotive sector at the moment – not around that London though.
Jaguar Land Rover and Ford (which is not far from London actually) are really struggling to recruit engineers of any discipline at present. Jonathan Lee Recruitment and ARM are a couple of good places to start.
I know it’s not Aerospace but it’ll do until you find what you REALLY want to do 🙂 Hourly rates start at around 20 pounds/hour for contractors.
If you don’t mind travelling, Mitsubishi are probably looking for people here in Japan LOL
Good luck!!

I think the only one left is Brtish Aerospace at Warton….. apart from that, you’re looking at cottage industries.
