It's about time too…Muslim woman fights back

Without causing problems, thought you should see this. Found on another site and copied link. I’m neither a woman nor a follower of Islam but by gosh I’m proud of her…

Good for her.
It’ll be long after i’m dead, if ever, but it’ll be a good day for the human race when the religious mumbo jumbo is finally acknowleged by all as the cynical abuse and subjectation of people that it is.

Ah well, yet another change for the better will ensue.
Good on the lass.
She should have done what other people objecting to their “rules” did.

Kev I think I agree with everything you said 😮
I am going to have a lie down now, and get over the shock 🙂

Any way, I think I remember saying I would stay out of all topics relating to religion, politics and monarchy :D

Religion is such a primitive way of living.

Ben

Whereas being a violent anarchist is oh so civilised?

Religion is not necessarily a primitive way of living. It depends on both the believer and the belief. I could not argue against the fact that radical Islam seems primitive to most of us any more than I could argue the seemingly primitive aspects of Catholicism, Anglicanism or any other faith.

It’s one of those subjects where you pays your money and takes your choice. I know Anglicans, Catholics, Muslims, Hindus and Jehovah’s Witnesses who are all unshakaeble in their own individual faiths, yet all of them are friends of mine and all have shown the value of their faith in their common humanity to their fellow man. I have atheist and agnostic friends who show and share the same humanitarian values. Perhaps the problem lies in the branding and labelling we all love so much?

The recent death of Constable Kerr in Northern Ireland is a case in point. He was a Police Officer but always reported in the news as a Catholic Officer. Yes, he was catholic, and the fact that he was a Catholic and a Police Officer made him a legitimate target to dissident Republicans. Which then begs the question, if dissident Republicans want a United Ireland, do they also want all Irish citizens to be Catholics too?

Religion or faith should be a matter for the individual. The problem lies in the fact that many faiths have a vested interest in seeing that their adherents are seen as superior to any other. While there is a good living to be made from being in the upper echelons of any faith, then surely organised Religion will never practice what is truly preached in the Bible, Talmud, Koran et al.

It might not be the authorities though, it could be just a complete stranger with a bucket of acid. She is indeed very brave.

Hi Ben. I agree. I.M.H.O. There have been more wars caused by different factions of religions than anything else.Guess it must be the heat, I mean, have you ever known a war between Eskimos ?.

That shows that things are perhaps changing in the east 🙂

However, the small segments of english text in that video made me think of the star trek episode where the alien uses english words out of context that are part of his language 😀

Well, If she ever wants to claim asylem, she can stay with me anytime. Joking aside, a very brave woman to be as outspoken as she was, and I admire her for standing up for herself.
I hope the authorities don’t take it out on her.
