They’re all as bad as each other. It could well be that come the Liberal conference in the autumn, Clegg will be about as popular with the rank and file, as a rattlesnake in a lucky dip:diablo:

There are two sorts of Liberals – those that understand what’s going on in the world of 2011 and that they have a foot, albeit a small one, through the door marked power and influence and the rest, the majority, who still think that beards and flipflops are the path to true glory.

After so many years sitting in their ivory towers telling the other parties what they should do, it’s nice to see the Liberals having to face up to the realities of actually governing, making difficult choices etc.

How mental are they having a conference in working man country?, they should have their conference in the back room of their tory masters conference!!
Obviously never got ANY of the message from the Barnsley by election! They as a party are finished, kaput.. never will be forgiven for their traiterous act of shaming the folk who switched from labour to give them a chance at the gen election!! kidding himself on if he really thinks Barnsley was a blip, and not indicative of his party’s future.
Well they may get a bit more enlightened after the Scottish elections this year, when the Scottish electorate they stabbed in the back boot them the way their tory masters have been ejected from Scotland.. taking the fool snp party of shame with them.
