Hi PeeDee. Nice one re Rick Wakeman, I visited his place a few years ago. I have a large pond with KOI carp in it. Rick had recently purchased a KOI that cost him if I remember several million pounds, it was in all the papers, As Rickk also sells fish, it was worth the visit.
He had two large swiming pools, (ponds) inside, fed by a spring on his land. We got talking whilst looking at his new expensive Koi, and he stated that even though the water was from an underground spring on his land, he had to pay water rates!!
Came away with a couple of Koi though. I found him to be a very nice chap, as we left, so did he, he was going to collect two railway crossing gates for his collection.
Strange hobby.

Hi ALL, Thanks S.H for the P.M. and all who have missed me, Just to put you in the picture, Nov 15 last year, I had an anuarism in my main aorta, Addenbrooks fixed it, painfull but done Had then to go back recently to have a CT scan to see if the stent has shifted or was leaking blood, everything O.K. however, the CT scan revealed yet another anuarism, which the 1st CT scan missed. So Monday, back into Addenbrooks again, and a second stent put in. They go in through the groins, put a stent into the aorta, and then, as stitches are old hat, use super glue instead, honest, even I was surprised the 1st time Normaly, you are/can be in and out the same day, however, due to me being an old git:D I had to stay an extra day, and got let out early this morning, great to see I have so many friends on the forum. Even G.A. wished me well, got to go now, pass the tissues Ma!! L.O.L (Jim)

“HI Honey I’M home”

Sheesh. This is healthcare on an industrial scale!

I heard they opened you up, and couldn’t find an ounce of work in you!
The Politician in the next bed had an ar5ehole transplant. The ar5ehole rejected him.
To finish on a true story told by Rick Wakeman. He was in hozzy waiting for an operation, there was a knock on his door. A nurse entered, with a bathing trolley. “Morning, time for your pre-op”. She proceeded to pull the sheets back, soaped him up, moved his tackle left/right/up/down whilst shaving all that area. She mopped up and asked “Any questions?”
“Yeah, why did you bother to knock on the door?”

Dammit. He’s not in the cooler and he’s back! Nooo!

All joking aside I know we’ve had our differences, Lincoln 7, but I wish you all the best. 🙂

Thats O.K. Buddy, we all like to think we are right, we wouldn’t be normal if we thought we were not.
No hard feelings, not using it as an excuse, but I must admit, I was very tetchy Sunday evening, as I knew what was going to happen on Monday.

Even my wife and I never agree on everything;)

He certainly creates a lot of commotion when he is here, so he is missed when he is not. He has had and still has health problems,m which he has referred to in various posts, so I too wish him well. As PeeDee says he won’t be reading PMs if he is not on here.

Sky High, I am amazed at your first line comment!! I sincerely hope your not inferring, that postings get rather heated, when I am on line.:D:D:D

But it’s nice to find a pm when you return and see that you’ve been missed, even after a short absence.I was quite touched when a dozy old type wondered where I’d gone last time I was on holiday.

Hi Anna, to save time, I have put a posting on, may I say, thanks very much for your sentiments, what a great forum to be on, where folks actualy care!!

I can confirm that Lincoln 7 is not “in the cooler”.

I do hope he’s OK, though.

Bit of pain, G.A. but bearable, thanks for hoping I am O.K.

Had to laugh at PeDee’s comment, “Is he in the cooler” reminded me of Steve McQueen in the Great Escape, now all I hear is the thump, thump, of his basebball as it hits the cell wall. :diablo:
