First Choice Airways, Manchester-Mahon

Well off on holiday for the 2nd time this year,

Well i awoke to a very wet manchester and was off to menorca, i knew that check-in was open from 14:05 so we got there for then got checked in and was allocated seat 15A,B & C, we went through to departures and to my suprise i noticed a Atlas Air Boeing 747-200 parked up, seems it had been diverted in the early morning,

Apart from that i counted 7 Boeing 747’s in Manchester @ 16:15

anyway i knew that we was waiting for flight FCA2301 from Rodes which is schedualed to arrive at 16:35 so we waited for it then it landed at 16:36 and got to gate 207 at 16:45 we then waited for us to start boarding, which was sched to happen at 16:50 but we waitied and carried on waiting untill at 17:25 the announcement started and she said could passengers in rows 1-10 & 35-25 to come forward, altough everyone just ran for the gate, we got on and sat in our seat we had a engine and wing view, we was parked next to a Boeing 757-200 G-BYAR Thomsonfly.com, we pushed back at 17:45 and was taxiing to runway 24L so we had to cross 24R as we were approching Taxiway DELTA a FedEx ATR 42 arrived then a Jet2 Boeing 737-300 then we crossed and a BA embraer thought he could push in, but we wizzed past him and was then at the runway given clearence and we started our race,

We started our climb to 37,000ft we was served with a roast chicken dinner which was fabulous, as we was passing over Paris area we flew over the big storm which caused mst of the flooding in Europe,

the cloud lasted from about 1,500ft to 36,000ft as we felt the turbulance, we started our decnt and it was starting to go dark,

we were then cleared to land after a beautiful sunset, we arrived on runway 19 and taxiied to gate 10 where we parked and disembarked, we was next to another First Choice Airways 757 just boarding on its way to Gatwick,
