Haven’t posted in a while so I thought i’d add some old pics and some new ones too. Some from trips, some from work.
I can’t remember if I’ve posted these from work, so apologies if I have.

I took this one when I flew in to Coventry in September 2011. G-JMCL works for Atlantic Airlines.

G-CPET on her final flight in to Heathrow in November 2010

The rest were taken at East Midlands Airport in November/December 2012, when I was visiting a friend of mine in Nottingham that is a volunteer at the EMA aeropark.

Thanks very much, Matt. I believe that you are right. I saw a photo on airliners.net I believe it was, of her sitting in the desert. I do miss the BA B757’s at LHR, they were my favourite type.
Found some old pics of my days training for my PPL a few years ago.
Taken in 2007. After an afternoon circuit training I changed seats with one of the other student pilots and took photos from the backseat while he practiced some circuits with our instructor.

Taken after departing Plymouth City Airport on a hazy day in 2007 after a practice run of the qualifying cross country en-route back to Perranporth in C172 G-ROUP (Sadly I understand that G-ROUP crashed in 2012 after the pilot apparently committed suicide crashing 2 miles from where I used to live)

Flying over Perranporth beach and over the sea to join downwind for runway 05 at Perranporth airfield. In G-ROUP, inbound from Plymouth City Airport.

I do confess, I miss flying from Perranporth. Will never forget those days, especially the ones where the windy was gusty! Practicing an engine out during gusty winds was always fun.. but when the weather was lovely the views were incredible down there, flying over the mainland and still insight of the Isles of Scilly.

Some great images 🙂 G-CPET is still sitting in the Californian desert sporting the full retro livery IIRC, FedEx have yet to start the cargo conversion.
