Heathrow

Hi,

Here are some photos from a trip to Heathrow back in the summer.

I think the 777-300 looks great in BA livery:-

More 777 action was provided by Turkish:-

The Turkish was followed by a Singapore A380:-

You can’t beat the 747 in my book though – here is Cathay Pacific’s B-HKT:-

One of the more unexpected visitors was Royal Air Maroc 767 CN-RNT:-

Iberia send an A340 on the evening service from Madrid. It was -600 model EC-INO operating the service during my visit:-

It is a pity that the Firefly livery has already been extinguished by BA:-

G-DBCA became the last British Midland aircraft I saw:-

As it got dark, there was a flurry of aircraft from the former Soviet republics, with Uzbekistan Airlines, Turkmenistan Airlines and Azerbaijan Airlines all arriving within a few minutes of each other:-

I hope the phots are of interest – loads more can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/

During my visit, the Daily Telegraph showed up to make a short film about the spotters at the airport:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIKsnoutspY. I can be briefly seen trying to avoid the camera at 1:08!!

Happy new year.

Neil
