We had a cold but clear day at schiphol saturday December 8th, time for some landing shots with that special light you get when the snow covered ground is providing reflection.
I also ventured to a new (temporary) position along runway 24.

New on the service to Amsterdam

The days of the MD11 in KLM service are rapidly coming to an end

Several Transavia’s scattered around the airport, waiting for business to pick up again.

One of the early Friendships is acting as gate guard at the Fokker Business park (the site of the former factory)

Cool shots. I’ll have to try the new Kaagbaan spot. Brings back memories from the old spot. Where is the new Kaagbaan spot? How long will it remain available?

Nice shots Eddy. Best weather for photos is clear cool skies in my opinion. Love the Belavia Embraer – hope that comes into Manchester to replace the 737s some day.

Fantastic pictures!
Just look at those GE-90s on the China Southern Cargo! 😮
It’s always great to see the MD-11.

Cracking photos as always – amazing how a little bit of snow makes the images that bit special 🙂
