1. Qatada can’t be deported to Jordan because there is evidence to suggest that the Jordanian evidence against him was obtained through torture. I think it’s also right that he can’t be deported to a Country where he couldn’t be guaranteed a fair trial?

Although as you know the British government has been given assurances that evidence acquired illegally will not be used and that he will have a fair trail.
