Southend: OLT Express And More….

Here’s a few photos from the past week at Southend… First a rather smart Dornier 228 of Aurcus Air on stand after operating a passenger charter:

The latest acquisition for Rossiya, a former Frontier Airlines aircraft as still registered as such.

And now the main event, the new airline at Southend, OLT Express Germany who have commenced passenger flights from Saarbrucken and Dresden. Really nice to have some different aircraft types at Southend, such a this Fokker 100.

And later what was meant to be the inaugural flight from Saarbrucken, until of course the Fokker 1000 operating the flight developed a technical problem on departure from Saarburcken and diverted to Stuttgart….

So six hours late, a Saab 2000 arrives, no stranger to Southend, having being painted at Southend in March this year.
