Just something slightly different.
Whilst descending into LGW a couple of weeks ago the full moon in front of us and sun behind us gave a weird dark blue looking sky. I thought I’d take some pics of it and share them here.

And a few random ones taken over the last couple of months:
Flying NE past Trevose Head, Padstow & Wadebridge

Coming back from Amsterdam Schiphol you can make out London City, the Dome & The Olympic Park

At the hold Rwy36L Amsterdam Schiphol behind an Air Transat Airbus 330

Departing, we’re next. We definitely need 2 minutes wake turbulence separation behind that one.

Nice one Dean. Aah Padstow – one of my favourite places. The London shot reminds me of Eastenders 😮

I can do that, cockerhoop. I may already have one somewhere, I’ll have a look.

if you can get a shot of Mersey west of Speke and before Albert dock area that would be nice
guess that would be likely on the Ex mcr route

Wonderful. You are very privileged in your career and I am very jealous.

Some great views there that not all of us get to see, so thanks for sharing!

I love the shot showing Trevosehead etc as all that is so familiar to me from my days flying in Cornwall 🙂 Lovely view.
I also love the view overhead London! My only wish is that someone would photograph Southall, in West London, as I grew up there and it would be nice to see how it looks from above!!
