Depends what’s in the parcel…………..;)

There is an old joke here about the sewage worker apprentice on his first day, being taught to recognise the “Parcels” from the Butcher / Fishmonger / Baker and “My wifes”.

Slightly off topic,but ..Grey Area you seemed to have infringed the Forum Quote Facility while responding to Whalebone. Not being picky it proves even Moderators are human ,but it did make me chuckle. Can Moderators be moderated?:diablo::);)

As a guideline;

1) If it is the post directly above yours, donโ€™t quote it

H2O Networks began fibre optic cable installation in sewers about two years ago.

You may laugh but I kid you not, it was not so many years ago that Bt seriously considered using the sewers to connect fiber optic cable to every UK address. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Indeed so.

I remember reading about it in Computer Weekly, or a similar periodical.

There’s no such thing as a free lunch.

Same applies to broadband – someone, somewhere, is paying.
