My Flight Review Website

Hi,

Some of you may know that I used to have a flight review website called web-wings.co.uk. Well, it’s back again and I’m keen to see what some of you think of it.

http://www.web-wings.co.uk/

There are one or two problems at the moment, but I’ve stopped work on it for today. As of now, there are only flight reviews for bmi and EVA Air, but the EVA Air ones cannot be accessed due to one of my cockups. Also, the submission form cannot be accessed because I forgot to put the link in!

But I’m going to continue working on it over the next few days and hopefully get it fully functional and to update it with the 100 flight reviews that forum members submitted last year.

If anyone is any good with email forms, then I’d be keen to hear from you. That is what is causing me a great deal of stress at the moment. I just don’t have a clue!

Hey
I like this website. It’s very easy to use, so welldone! I’ll be sure to make a review on that website some time soon.

It does seem that a lot of people are complaining about the fact that the site is constantly ‘down’. Therefore, I’ve just spent some money on a new and more reliable web hosting option, which will also enable me to add new features to the website, such as a gallery where visitors can upload their photos and host them for free (ideal for showing them off on this forum), a discussion forum, free @web-wings.co.uk email addresses and more.

Give it till Saturday at the absolute latest and it will be properly functioning.

Sorry, I still can’t access the site.

Don’t know what’s going on there. I’ve attached a screenshot of it.

I’m having immense problems trying to get the form up and running that will be used by visitors to submit trip reports, so I’ve had to temporarily use a free one that will display an advertisement after you submit. The entire website doesn’t have a single advertisement on it, so I’m not going to stand for that. Over the coming days, I will be finding a replacement and one that is completely ad-free.

If you want to use the site, its really quite self-explanatory and I’d love to receive some of your trip reports.

What have you actually designed your website in?
All I can do is make a form like:
First name:
Last name:
Comment:

and then it sends it all to a pre-assigned email address

Its made with FrontPage using HTML, but I don’t want a form that upon clicking send says, “This form is being sent via email..” and then the default email client opening and trying to send it. Not everybody uses an email client, so it wouldn’t be practical.

I used to use the phpFormGenerator package that came with my hosting account but unfortunately, it just will not work and downloads of it have not been successful.
