Just a couple of evening shots from Southend over the last couple of says. Amazing what difference light can make!
Germania 737 departing on a special charter to Erfurt:

And even better, a highlight of this year, a Rossiya A319 departing back to Saint Petersburg after maintenance. The sun had gone behind a big dark cloud for more than an hour, and a landing easyJet delayed it just enough for the sun to come out when it was on the runway.

Thanks for all of your comments, and I’m glad you liked them. Sorry to disappoint Newforest, been at least a couple of years since the last Japanese airline was at Southend.
