Here’s a little tip for future reference, Scott.
Don’t ever again attempt to use a posting I have made in my capacity as moderator to add authority to snarky comments you are making about another member.
I am greatly unamused.
This thread will be closed for a while to allow mature reflection.
That is all.

Gentlemen,
Save your anger for the scrotes who nick collection boxes! I’m fairly certain that they won’t be looking in on us.
Be nice to each other, now.
Thanks
GA
well we would GA, but for fear of offending Arthur, we had better just keep quiet all together
seems he would just let them carry on doing what they want, aslong as they come to no harm

All I’m doing is pointing out the inconsistencies in your postings. One minute you say you would inflict violence, the next you say you haven’t a violent bone in your money. Which is it?
I don’t know how I would do at manning the phones in a 999 call centre -I’ve never done it. I’m sure it is a difficult job at times – like all jobs really.
Dealing with violence with more violence is not going to work. Ever.

Ben, good on you for working with the police. Its not a job that i think i could do. Poppy Tins being stolen is down right low, I dont feel that vengeance should be sought but these are obviously people without respect. Ben i see what you are saying with regards to violent lifestyles, at the same time Violence begats Violence…
Something to think of perhaps

I wonder if you took anything at all from my last post apart from a few select phrases to make yourself look superior?
Come and have a go at my job, I wonder how you would last.

Best Regards
Ben

You can ask any of the people in here that know me, I havent a nasty or violent bone in my body…
My point is, Smacking the **** out of these people is the ONLY way to get a point accross or teach them, anything
There would be a lot of damage caused (by me)
But its easy to make judgements of people over the internet, isnt it?
Yes it is.

Why not lock everyone up, just to be on the safe side?
By: Nashio966 - 13th November 2010 at 16:08
Im not going to get drawn into an argument over this arthur, I might ask what you do for a living?
If, like my job, it involves dealing with people like this on a daily basis im sure your opinion of what to do with these people might change.
I work in Thames Valley Police Control room – I take 999 calls, General Public calls and I work on the Radio’s to police units dealing with incidents.
I deal with people on a daily basis that even Jeremy Kyle would reject.
Take the saturday of halloween weekend – In oxford alone there were 4 rapes, 2 armed robberies, 3 stabbings (one involved 8 puncture wounds to the front and 6 to the rear)
That stabbing was over a man in the street not giving another man a ciggarette – So he got stabbed.
If you could come and sit in the police control room and listen to what the people in there deal with every minute of the day, your opinions (as I have already said) might possibly change – The reaction of most new starters is either – 1) This isnt real, Or 2) My god…
Before you go on at me and what I am personally like, I have only hit someone once In my whole life – I was 16 and completely out of it, I swung at a bully that had been tormenting me since I was 11. It was Just and at the same time stupid – I suffered 4 broken ribs, 3 cracked ribs, a broken wrist, 6 stitches in my eyebrow, both lips split and a sever concussion.
You can ask any of the people in here that know me, I havent a nasty or violent bone in my body…
But its easy to make judgements of people over the internet, isnt it?

So do you think poeple like this behave violently because they are treated with violence? Could be eh?
.
My point is, Smacking the **** out of these people is the ONLY way to get a point accross or teach them, anything
I don’t know what you do Nashio but if you treat people with violence you should not expect anything else in return.
But it’s easy to threaten violence over the internet isn’t it?

And violence achieves nothing. If caught the thieves should pay back what they stole and then have to stand from 6 in the morning until midnight at the town’s war memorial wearing a placard saying that they stole the charity box.
I like that idea very much!!!;)

Really? Fortunately for the rule of law there a lot of “keyboard” heroes otherwise you would be no different to the thieves.
‘Fortunately’ as you say there is the ‘rule of law’.
That’ll be the same rule of law that gives a hit and run driver 5yrs, ‘stern’ warnings to young thugs who terrify old people in their homes night after night, not to mention the ars***es who rob the poor sods during the day and go on and on taking or simply breaking what isn’t theirs, and last but by no means least, that poor sod out in the Fens who was put inside for daring to protect what was his. I’ll leave the so called penalties for cold blooded murder for another day. At the end of the day I guess we’re just talking charity boxes, so we’ll all just move on, forget about it and let rule of law take its course…..as I’m sure it will:(
These are my own views and I feel no need to justify nor defend them to anyone. I assure all present that I have a very good and very personal reason for having them.

Whatever you say! Stealing Poppy collection boxes shows a COMPLETE lack of respect for the country, the vets and all of those who have fought for their freedom.
I work with people like this day in and day out, the only Language that they understand, is violence – They were born with it, grew up with it, dealt with it day in day out. We’re talking people that have domestics and commit Assault against eachother (broken bones etc) over a ciggarette.
I dealt with a domestic once where a 17 y/o boy had beaten up his girlfriend (who was carrying their 2 month old baby at the time) all over a piece of toast.
My point is, Smacking the **** out of these people is the ONLY way to get a point accross or teach them, anything

if i bumped into the tw@ts i wudnt think twice about “hurting” them
There would be a lot of damage caused (by me)

Those that steal charity boxes are thieves pure and simple. They don’t care from whom they steal as long as it gets them their “fix” or whatever. It has happened for centuries and will carry on as humans exist I suspect.

Unfortunately charity boxes get stolen every day in every corner of our great country.Just wondering if this would have made the news any other day.
It’s a Universal problem Dave..it happens everyday all over the Globe..every country has low lifes
