Hello
I spent a recent Sunday afternoon / evening at Luxembourg.
The Cargolux 747-8s were my goal, and it took an hour and half before I saw my first when LX-VCC taxied out en route to Mexico City:-

The highlight of my visit was another 747-8, Atlas Air’s N850GT:-

Another cracking visitor was Air Atlanta’s TF-ARJ:-

It was great to see this aircraft as TF-ARJ is an old friend, formerly flying with BA as G-BDXN.
Another interesting freighter was China Southern 777 B-2071:-

As you would expect, there were plenty of Luxair aircraft about – here is Dash Eight LX-LGF:-

Luxembourg isn’t the busiest airport by a long way, but sometimes you have to sacrifice quantity for the high quality of movements. Viewing was easy as well, with some waste ground giving an excellent view over the runway allowing everything to be seen. You can just see the taxyway in the bottom right corner:-

I hope the photos are of interest – just about everything I saw can be seen at http://www.flickr.com/photos/indiaecho/

Nice! I’ve been there once, but did not see much due to fog and a crappy spotting area. Where did you take the photos? Do you have a streetname or a link to the spot on Google maps?
