Where can we park the Ark?

Instead of scrapping the Ark Royal can’t we have it parked up somewhere and turned into a museum – plenty of Harriers to put in it and you could always put a Nimrod MRA4 and Sentinal on the deck.

I heard there was a plan to move the LHR Concorde to a pontoon on the Thames. Might put her on the carrier. Put her next to the HMS Belfast.

What is it about Tory governments and Ark Royal? The previous Ark Royal was scrapped during a Tory government and now this one. Do they have something against the name?

Yes I know it’s a coalition government at the moment…

They could rename it the Almighty and have it patrol the English Channel to keep the immigrants out!

Just posted a message on the BSAC Forums, suggesting it could be turned into an artificial reef.

My Mother watched the US do this off the coast of Florida. They made a bit of a show of it. USAF threw a few at it as part of a display, then it was finished with a back-breaking torpedo. Wonderful. They were hiring out Binoculors on the beach…it was a few miles out to Sea.

Don’t forget you’ve still got the Vince to dispose of. There is a plan (more an idea) to take her back to Barrow. http://www.bringinvinciblehome.co.uk/invincible_campaign_home.asp

….Don’t the French use an old carrier off NCE for helicopter work around the area?
We could do the same for the London area….

Best to add the real villains such as Goldman Sachs, derivatives dealers, the entire EU, hedge funds and political ‘friends’ of such organisations to the manifest prior to sailing.:D

They even make school gate crack cocaine dealers appear like upstanding members of the community……

….would make a great multi-storey car park on the Thames.
