Geat morning at GLASGOW incl FlyDubai

Was out nice and early for the arrival of A6-FEA, the 27th 737 for FDB.
Got more of the regulars that i needed plus the boring Germania 737.

Nice shots here like others my favourite is the Air transat can anyone tell me where you stand to get great shots like this?

Thanks

Jim

These shots would be from Abbotsinch Rd. which runs alongside the main runway
(although since these shots were taken a new hangar will have popped up beside the GAT… but plenty places along the length of the road for shooting)

Glasgow really produces the goods… Widebodies, exotic airliner and unusual liveries. Better than all the usual Easyjet/FR/Flybe stuff that normally haunts regional airports. Great pics !

Culpano,

All the FlyDubai 737s have visited Glasgow but each one only once. They come through here on delivery.

Good smoke coming off the Transat. When I got down the Dubai was already in so I got it going out along with the boring Germania and the Titan pig which I was happy to get shots off. So, I missed the TCX Egypt scheme going out. Bummer.

This little chap arrived just as I was leaving at 2.

Very nice photos indeed. The Germania 737 is a bit disappointing, it;s the only aircraft in the fleet which is quite so plain, as it was repainted from Air Berlin livery at Norwich and is anticipated to be replaced by an Airbus quite soon. As others have said, the Fly Dubai 737 is brilliant catch, and very well photographed. I saw one when transiting through GLA last August, and was very annoyed not to get a decent photo. Really well caught.

Scotty, the Germania was taking Motherwell FC for their last European game against Panathanikos in Athens.

Enjoyed those, thanks. Always think the Embs look underpowered with little teeny engines
