No, He’s a friend from the marque club and has experience with that sort of car…he knows what he’s doing.
I’m getting a comparitve deal but doing so has its disadvantages. He takes time away from it to do the occasional better paying jobs.
The car is now 14 months late!

I save my money for cars, airplanes, etc.

used to restore classics , learned techniques working in engineering , and restoring opel monza 3.0 gse’s at my friends garage

a task akin to the forth bridge !!

exactly they do what others can’t i’m gradualy getting used to an airbrush ( using and using well is a vastly huge difrence ) wich only comes from many years practice .

you can spend more money buying it all yourself making a piece of c***p you wouldn’t display in your toilet

I asked a friend who runs a modeler’s website for some information about an old, rare kit I wanted built. Rather, I’d like to have painted, the building is very elemental…but the painting is the key.

He said it would be about $1000. Wow.

paints £30.00

sundries ,tools etc
from scratch £70.00

time and electricity
if costed to customer £100.00

be honnest , do you go to work for free ??? no !! well why should others !!

i’m unsure if it is available commercialy in that scale apart from a kit

if not it is a one off custom built item being offered

you do not pay the same price for a mini as a bespoke carriage built vehicle

to be honest – ive seen other 1/48 scale professionally finished model kits go on ebay uk for ~£250

I dont think its unreasonable to be honest – ive got a hasegawa 1/48 phantom FGR.1 in my wardrobe, i paid £57 just for the kit…

if you are a modeller of good ability it probably won’t be worth it !!

however combine 2 huge wyvern fans with money burning a hole in thier pockets , and an ability to screw up even skirting board painting

same as paintings or anything if you can’t yourself , pay someone else !!

trumpeter are not a cheap manufacturer and there are a lot of skilled hours in the build

why shouldn’t he make something on it ???

it is more original than a corgi one and look at the price of corgis !!

Presumably the Trumpeter kit? If you’ve got 665 dollars to spare you could buy and build yourself a Squadron of them.
