It is, to use the Russian word, a ‘Shagokhod’ (шагоход) a land vehicle which uses legs. In English you might call it a ‘Mecha.’ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walker_(machine)

im putting my money on an amphibious, icebreaking, ballistic missile launching tank
(i say icebreaking because i cant see any other reason for having a pair of archimedes screws on the front of “it” im sure the russians have used archimedes screws for amphibious icebreakers before )
