Hi All
another rare visit to the home drome…we had a Pullmantur Air B744 in on a Monarch charter that was due out at 1210, but ended up leaving 4 hours late!!
In the meantime it turned out quite a busy day for movements:
This A330 positioned out empty and the pilot thought he would show off a wee bit for the massed spotters waiting on the lump moving…straight up!!!

Not bad team bus for a team relegated!!! Wolves owner and friends here to play golf….
Had never managed to catch a shot of one of these on their bi-weekly visits..so finally got it on the day they announced the route was being axed unfortunately.
Nice Swiss Pa24

First visiting Iceair 757
At this point it was obvious the lump was not about to go anytime soon… so headed homeward for a couple of hours
Came back over about 3pm weather had started to deteriorate…
Something else that has eluded me are these Jet 2 tasty machines….
An unusual visitor…French Customs Cessna F406
Then finally…. as the heavens opened of course, the star of the day moved……..

Good (if wet end to) day at the home drome.
Cheers
