If proof were needed that this man will go to any lengths to win the world championship, then today was in my opinion proof positive , full credit to Mark Webber he held the racing line whilst Vettel pushed his self into Webbers path ,amazing scene of Vettel being consoled by the pit wall crew. Why? clearly they favour the german and im sure tomorrows press will see Webber cast as the villain, echos of Schumacers debacle at the australian GP when he robbed Damon Hill of the world championship.

B*****D! B*****D! B*****D!…….B*****D!I remember that all too well when Micheal-I knocked Hill out the race so I could win in 94-Schumacher took Damon out, that was Damons year, he should have been two times world champion. The guy was and still is my all time F1 hero & him winning the 1996 F1 world championship was just the greatest moment in F1 history for me, no one deserved it more than Damon Hill….
….Gotta say though I’m routing for Micheal at the moment but thats not the point. 😀

Yes but that was just dumb barging …he didnt finish the race…he was not far enough ahead (or even level !)to force webber to move over.
There’s drivers and screwdrivers, he’d make a good sledgehammer.

…..of actuall racing, lets hope so.:)
The last two/three seasons have been pretty good.
Not a chance, all the recent rule changes have seen off any hope of that happening.

there always will be compettative barging and any means to come first

Vttel’s actions after the event are more apropriately applied to him than Webber. He’s taking a leaf out the cobler’s book. Screws it up and then maintains he was not at fault. Ho Hum is that what the season is going to descend to?

Just goes to show that the race is never over until the finishing line is crossed in Formula 1.
I was amazed at Webber’s coolness in the interviews afterwards though – he should have made apfelstrudel out of Vettel…

Blind Freddy could see it was deliberate by Vettel

I am no webber fan but I really cannot see how he could possibly take any blame !Vettel had plenty of room and imo he turned into webber so quickly and so unexpectedly that i do not see how webber could have averted the ensuing bump.Dumb move by vettel

The Mclaren boy’s showed them how to do it properly!!
By: benyboy - 31st May 2010 at 00:24
He stuck it up the inside, a legitimate move. Webber was not obliged to move over but maybe he should have :)
Lets be honest though, it closed the championships up again and thats whats realy important 🙂
