I finally managed to step into the digital age. Last night I was trying out the new camera at a Spot landing contest at a small airport close to Reykjavik. The pictures are here . The only problem is, I somehow managed to set the wrong day into the thing, so it is showing desember on the shots 😮

TF-ART
Why not?
Galdri: That is funny. My humour was obviously a little too subtle. For those of you who do not wish to be corrupted – look away now.
I was looking at the F-ART part of it. It’s a rather tastless pastime of the male Curry-Class in this country. I’m sure the habit couldn’t possibly occur elsewhere. 🙂

Thanks Galdri, looking forward to that 🙂

Nice pics, Galdri 🙂 If you would happen to come across one of the KZ-III’s or KZ-VII’s on Iceland with your new camera in at hand, then I’d be very pleased to see a pic of those too…. 😀
Well pictures of KZ-VII, TF-JON, should not be long in comming 😎 I’m waiting for the right weather to go flying in that very aircraft with the gentilman that owns it. I did do a few hours of labour when the aircraft was being restored, and my reward will be a couple of hours flight time.
The other is a KZ-III that is based on the other end of the country, at Akureyri. That one has the registration TF-KZA and is in bits and pieces undergoing restoration. I’ll be there on the 26th, and will see what I can do

A Vans RV-6 called TF-ART! 🙂 I wonder if our CAA would allow that.
Why not? Of course you have G+four letters, so ART would not work in that system, but you can surely make a nice word out of that! You would have to part with 150 pounds if I remember correctly.
We have some really funny registrations in the three letter system we are using, some of them not printable 😮 😀

If you got software with your camera to load your photos into your PC check all the menus. I took 60 shots at a wedding recently all with last years date but was able to re date the whole lot in one go.

When are you going to start posting here direct?
When I figure out how to do it 😮 Spent most of yesterday night to get it even that far 😉 Being computer challanged is not easy 😀
BCX. Handsome, but needs a better paint job
Very handsome! I was very close to buying it a couple of years ago, but decided on the CAP instead.
OXO. What a fine aircraft
Thought you would like that one 😀 It is known to all and sundry here in Iceland as the ‘Soup Cube’
