So which of you pilots are coming to Project Propeller at North Weald on Saturday 3rd July 2004?
The website says “So far, 112 pilots and 256 RAF aircrew have registered to take part”, so some of you must be out there.
It’s a good fun day out.

Square peg, square hole. A great bloke.
I was there when he wandered into one of the initial meetings setting up the Squadron as a spotter with an ageing Praktica.
He’s been there ever since.

I’m sure the World’s Greatest Refueller will take it all in his stride, as usual. Just don’t expect to get any fuel while he’s having his roast potatoes!

What an excellent idea YakRider!
Do you remember the refuelling last year? I think John needs a warning/standby cardiac equipment.

Being “home-based”, I’ve offered to give veterans arriving by road a flight. Now waiting to hear. Certainly enjoyed going to Elvington last year with a Lancaster rear gunner and Halifax radio operator as crew!
