Fly-In to raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update on the Today’s Pilot Fly-In.

The event is scheduled to be held at Nottingham Tollerton airport on Sunday June 13 and we’ve had a good response from people planning on bringing aircraft from all over the UK.

Although the event is scheduled to take place only on the Sunday the chaps at Tollerton are organising a party for Saturday evening with food beer and a band booked. Everybody is invited and they are happy for you to camp with your aircraft (there are also B&Bs for the less hardy pilot!). If you’re interested in going to the party will you please call Wil at Tollerton on 0115 9815050 so they can cater for the correct number.

Sunday’s fly-in is open to all-comers – whether they fly microlights, helicopters, jets, singles or twins. All we ask is you call the airport on 0115 9815050 (admin) or 0115 9811327 (tower) for a briefing on the day.

Landings are FREE – but we are requesting pilots ot make a donation to Breast Cancer Awareness instead.

If you want any more information please drop me an e-mail at stephen.bridgewater@keypublishing.com or call me on 01780 755131.

Will we see any forum members at the fly-in or the party?

Best regards

Steve

Thanks Janie,

Any chance we may see a certain Chipmunk gracing the Nottighamshire skies that weekend?

Calendar entry

Steve

I hope you don’t mind, but I copied your info to the Calendar (see the menu bar above). This allows us to “set a reminder”. I’m not sure if the function is working, but we’ll see.
