You tube has some real garbage on it.
You can post a really innocent video, but in the “Related videos” section on the right, there can be some things you may not wish the kids to see.
LiveLeak is even worse, exploding people (Usually Arabs at the hands of Apache guns..but equally plenty of IED’s against the US/GB troops) is a common trait on there. Not tea-time viewing.

Give the url a twirl and knock the embedd on the head.

Some sites don’t even allow you to post the URL for YouTube videos.

Oh well, worse things happen at sea. 🙂

I dont know mate, there are tons of threads on this forum with embedded videos.

ps… I watched ‘300’ for the first time last night. Cracking film! 🙂

If you click play, it stays on this website and plays the video (since its youtube) You have to right click and select “watch on youtube” to be taken away from this website!

How is that misdirecting people to another site? its hardly if youtube is child pornography is it?

whats the problem with embedding a video into a post then?

It points people’s web browsers towards a website that they have not chosen to look at for themselves, which is generally agreed to be A Bad Thing.
