Moderator Message

OK, I’ve had a bit of a clean-up.

Some of you really should know better than to rise to the bait!

I’m sorry for being so snarky last night, OLDCROW.

I’d been up since 4:30, and I should have long since been in my bed. 🙁

Regards

Anyway have tried uploading the pics but keeps failing, shame as they are awesome pics.

Possibly the file size is too big, the forum limits files to 300KB.

You could try reducing the size of files with the site below, saving and them posting them: it is a bit slow but the results are usually quite good.

It really is quite simple.

Once they are there, you will find that copying the ‘forum’ link that it gives you, then pasting it here onto the forum, makes your images appear, as if by magic 😉

We tidy up the forum to make it easier for all to read.

With most browsers there are facilities to increase the effective type size to make it easier for those visually impaired to read.

ALL CAPS actually makes it more difficult for everyone to read (The reason that road signs are always in upper and lower case)

Thank you for your help in this.

You can add attachments straight from your PC. If you click on ‘create a new thread’ or ‘reply to post’ you will see a range of symbols generated. Click on the paper clip and it will generate a ‘manage attachments’ window. From there you can upload straight from your PC.

You should get that Caps Lock key fixed while you’re at it.

Hi,
I did a guide for Photobucket on another forum. You can read it here: – http://theflyingboatforum.hostingdelivered.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=410

Photobucket might have changed a little but the basics should still work, if my guide makes sense! 🙂

Best way is to join photobucket or similar,it is free for the non pro service.
You can upload larger images onto the forum from photobucket than if you just do a normal attachment from your PC-also there is no limit to the amount of images you can display on here,if you use normal attachment then there is a strict limit on how many pics you can upload.
Automatic resizing as well on photobucket !!:)
