Advice on flying in Jamaica

I am a very lucky PPL holder who has the chance of a holiday in Jamaica, has anyone hired an aircraft in Jamaica, and can give advice on what I need to do to do some flying when I am there.

Yes well I have not flown thier, as I always say maybe one day but the fact remains when you do go you will be required to take about an hours check-ride. I know a chap at our club who has done it, he turned three aircraft down due to thier poor conditions and aircraft standards.

I think you will find standards are much lower out there, may I suggest a float plane, you can have some real great fun.

Heh if you need a Co-pilot im your man, im willing to pay my way.
