I written this for the people of Haiti.
“
Lying in the dark with fear in my eyes
Knowing tomorrow all I’ll do is cry
For my parents, uncles and aunts have died
And I wasn’t given that chance to say goodbye
The noise that I heard and the moving on my bed
The cracking of the walls and the screaming in my head
Wishing that I could change what it was all around me
Wishing for the others trapped to just be set free
One day I will look back at this just a distant memory
One day I will hope to just give all that I can to help
For you’ve helped me and all the people that you see
Thank you. From us, the children of Haiti. “
Please, give any money you can. I’ve already given £18 pound in total but that being from my student grant.

I’ve had a bash: –
Our Planet moves in mysterious ways
Crust to dust leaves life crushed, for days
People, animals in endless rot
A Capital city, razed
The world decides benevolence
Air drop, ship and lorry, not getting to the hungry
One can expect violence
Soon, please hurry
Downing Street responded
Like you’d throw a dog a bone
The people of the UK did
What Brown tried to intone
Thank heaven for the Yanks
And the Aircraft built for Tanks
The idiots want to ban it, CO2 increase
But they shut up now it’s used in peace
Water Is Ambrosia, it too comes in Tanks.
Rebuild inland, start again, a whole new script
Nurture the Babies born amidst apocalypse
For they are strong and the future is long
Their land has not yet slipped
It seems a long way off, as you bury your kin
But we will be there, no political spin
We care, we share your pain
But cannot truly feel it.
