The problem seems quite widespread…..I was directed to this clip the other day:

And before you ask…..someone has already added the appropriate music! 😉

Strange behaviour of some of the motorists…..surely the safest place is IN the car!

Hmm… Well, jumping out of a moving car with the entirely possible risk of either ending up under your own car or being hit by another, or inside the car with nice seat belts and air bags. Yep, I’m with option 2!

I think there is more to that than meets the eye…..lots intentional accelerations and 2nd attempts at hitting the cars. Even after the car came to a stop, in blatently obvious impossible conditions, they set off again to go for more hits.

I thought that was strange too; almost like they were trying to do as much damage (to their own car) as possible?

Maybe it is just that they’ve never experienced ice before and think they can steer and ‘power’ out of trouble (even if their reactions are a bit slow)!

Some more ‘fender-benders’ on icy roads:

I think there is more to that than meets the eye. “I love the sound of breaking glass” is a definite aspect of our psychy. There were lots of (To me) intentional accelerations and 2nd attempts at hitting the cars. Even after the car came to a stop, in blatently obvious impossible conditions, they set off again to go for more hits. Maybe the driver thought “Sod it, in for a penny in for a pound”, or they were drugged up or drunk.

Amusing though, but not if it was my car getting hit.
